Dennis is a great guy and a phenomenal coach!
Years ago at Perry I was in the ArmaLite store on vendor’s row and was talking to Dennis and Billy Atkins. I complained that I had a wandering zero in sitting and was shooting good groups but couldn’t keep the whole group inside to clean it. Lots of 98’s and 99’s with 4 or 5x’s.
They told me to get my gear and the two of them sat me down right in the store and fixed my sitting position right there. The very next day, I went out and shot my first ever clean at the Nationals. Over the next couple days, every time I sat down, it came up clean.
I write this not to brag about my shooting prowess, but to brag about Dennis. He didn’t have to do what he did, but he would do it again and again.
I only hope that he remembers that day and that we’ll see him rent space on vendor’s row again. Soon!
