Zeiss Diarange 2.5-10×50 on Sale for $2400.00
The innovative Zeiss 2.5-10x50mm Diarange riflescope with built-in Laser Rangefinder is now on sale at EuroOptic.com for $2400.00. That’s an amazing price — the Zeiss Victory Diarange 2.5-10x50mm normally sells for $3949.00. This represents a $1549.00 savings over the regular price — almost 40% off. (EuroOptic.com also has the Zeiss Victory Diarange 3-12×56 T* demo models for $3,200.00 marked down from $3,999.00.)
EuroOptic.com has about 40 units at this price. They are offered with either Rapid Z 800 or Rapid Z 600 reticles (both illuminated). The Zeiss Diarange is a unique products that combines a very high-grade riflescope with an integrated laser rangefinder. Measuring range for the laser is from 10-999 yards, with a measuring accuracy of ± 1 yard up to 600 yards and ± 0.5 % of reading at ranges beyond 600 yards. Ranging is fast and the scope offers outstanding low-light performance.
For a hunter looking to simplify his load-out, the Diarange allows you to sight your prey and range it with one device. You can keep both hands on the rifle at all times and you can keep your muzzle on target while you’re ranging. Eurooptics’ $2400.00 price is a lot of money, to be sure, but consider that the discounted Diarange gives you a high-end scope AND a rangefinder for about the same price as a Zeiss Diavari scope by itself.

I would assure you there would not be a line to buy any scope for $4000.00 and I can assure that the line would and will not be any longer at nearly $2500.00… times such as they are and the economics of the world I wonder how much demand there will be for a hunting scope that can do all this.. I assure no one that I know of will be buying one at either price.. especially to go hunting with.
WELL one thing is for sure, even a price drop of nearly $1500 is not going to create a line at your neighborhood..how many working class people, with the economy th eway it is are going to buy $2500 hunting scope..no one I know..completely out of control for the average Joe Hunter…I’ll just use my $100 Bushnell yardage pro, my $199 Leupold scope and the animal will be just as dead..this stuff should not even be shown on this site..we are not corporate CEOs..thank GOD for that..$4000.00 for a scope, Please !!
Frank,
I understand your consternation at the Zeiss prices — even after the hefty discount. But the fact remains that plenty of people in this country still seem to have plenty of money. EuroOptics.com reported they sold out of the first batch of S&B 12.5-50X scopes at well over three grand. There are plenty of the rich safari guys who’ve got a $2000.00+ scope on top of their $6000 engraved rifle, plus a $2500.00 spotting scope, and $2200+ Geovids. This option puts the rangefinder inside the scope, eliminating one piece of expensive gear.
